When I started the first episode, I was like “Ok, so this is all the hype was all about?”. Even if I wasn’t expecting something great, I would be lying if I say I wasn’t disappointed at all. But heck, I’m so glad I continued watching this anime because all of those revelations and scenes were really remarkable, I’ll tell you about it later, *wink. The first 15 episodes were about setting the groundwork about what this anime is about and for us to know each character.
I love fantasy and adventure shounen anime, so when I saw a snippet of Black Clover on Facebook, I knew I had to watch it. It’s currently on-going at the time so I told myself that I need to binge watch it when it’s finished because I have a feeling that this series is going to be really great. And tada! As usual, I forgot to check this series, lol.
This film, Sword of the Stranger was actually requested by Evan on Instagram. The instant I read the title, I knew instantly that I already watched it (forgot when, lol) and I am 100% sure that I enjoyed it. But seeing that I don’t have a review posted in the blog, (and checking on my account on MAL) I confirmed that I watched it while this blog was on hiatus last 2019.
One Piece Film: Red has quite a unique narrative in comparison to previous films in which it showcases the ability of a new character named Uta. And just like her name (Uta means song in Japanese), she is widely known for her “otherworldly” voice. Like literal “otherworldly”.
I rarely enjoy watching anime movies, except when it’s from a series that I’ve been following and loved. That said, I didn’t have any expectations at all when I decided to watch this movie in the cinema last week. It’s been a week already, but everytime I think about this movie, I feel super giddy because I really enjoyed it.
