I rarely enjoy watching anime movies, except when it’s from a series that I’ve been following and loved. That said, I didn’t have any expectations at all when I decided to watch this movie in the cinema last week. It’s been a week already, but everytime I think about this movie, I feel super giddy because I really enjoyed it.
I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about this anime on facebook when it first aired last year, but it’s just now that I am finally able to watch it lol. Took me a year eh? Wahahaha. It’s only ONA so each episodes were just very short that’s why I was able to finish it in just one sitting, *wink.
To my surprise, I really enjoyed watching Dororo. My mood has been very crazy since the start of this year because of work, so I didn’t expect much when I decided to watch this anime. Oh boy, what a surprise. A very nice surprise.
Hello fellow geeks! As I’ve done every year (except on the year I’ve been on hiatus), I’ve compiled here the list of top anime that I’ve watched in 2021. Looking back now, I’m not sure what the theme was for last year since I think I just basically watched them on the fly without much thought lol. Except ofcourse when I finally decided to create this list and finally followed a schedule, *wink.
“I can’t believe I waited a year to finally watch Haikyuu’s latest season!!!!!”
Seems like that has been my line lately, wahahaha. But seriously, I guess I just get cowardly when it comes to my favorite series. I always make excuses to hold on to them as long as I can, but then again, no one can tell me not to watch it again and again right? So I should really watch or read them sooner if I really want to and not make excuses every time. That is probably what I am going to work on changing next year, *wink.
Just like the Tokyo Revengers, Jujutsu Kaisen was really popular when it was first aired last year. And seeing that it is supernatural, I knew I had to watch it too, unfortunately I wasn’t able to watch it sooner, hahaha. I only watched the trailer this year, but seeing all those posts about this anime on my facebook feed, I have a feeling that I will really enjoy this one. And I sure did!
I’ve been seeing a lot of Tokyo Revengers posts in my Facebook stream eversince it was aired. Saying that I wasn’t interested was an understatement. Without reading its synopsis or watching its trailer, I instantly added it to my to-watch list.
I wasn’t expecting that I will be giving an anime series with a 10 out of 10 rating this year! I am very particular with my 10 star rating and I don’t give it up easily even to my favorite series or artist. If I’m not mistaken, I think I’ve only given my 10 star rating to 4 series (including this series) since I started watching anime a very long time ago.
I don’t always give high ratings on season 2 and onwards (most especially on season 2) especially if I really enjoyed the first season. It’s mostly because the hype has gone down and obviously my excitement level will go down as well. But Fruits Basket is definitely one of those few anime series that kept me engrossed till the end.
I remember how I had a lot of tears watching the first Fruits Basket anime that was aired last 2001. So when I found out that there’s a new anime reboot for Fruits Basket, I knew I had to watch it. But unfortunately, I lost track and only watched it last year, hahaha.
I can still clearly remember how I liked this anime instantly after watching the first episode of season 1 last year. (I only discovered it last year too, hahaha) So when I found out that there’s season 2, I know I’ve got to watch it. But, I wasn’t able to watch it sooner, wahahaha.
