Review – Pescadores Seaview Suites

After being forced to stay at home for almost a year, together with my mom and my sister, we planned for a relaxing overnight stay at a resort. And since we’ve been itching to hit the beach, we decided to book a room at one of Cebu’s popular beach destinations, Moalboal.

It wasn’t an easy feat since there’s a LOT of resorts in Moalboal, so our decision was based more on our budget, hahaha. And Pescadores Seaview Suites doesn’t just fit the bill but the location is also perfect.

Location

Note: Because of the pandemic, every tourist visiting Moalboal should register first at the Moalboal Tourism office in the town proper before going to their respective destinations. That said, any visitors should already have a booked accommodation.

Amenities, Staffs and Security

After being disappointed with my previously booked hotel accommodation last month (I will maybe make a blog post about it soon), I didn’t expect much this time.

When we arrived at the resort, it was a bit smaller than what I’d expected but still looked exactly like what they advertise online. They also follow proper health protocol before checking in so every guest should expect a little delay since everyone should register and fill out some forms.

As for the staff, I actually think they were ok. I hate staff that are always hovering at you but the staff at Pescadores respect privacy so they just let you be. And receptionists are always present so whenever you have questions, you can easily call them out.

As for their amenities, every room has a free 15 minutes use of their glass kayak, free use of goggles and life vest. There’s also a communal mineral water at the lobby in case you didn’t bring drinking water with you. Another cool amenity they have is the game room in which every guest can hang out.

The resort doesn’t have corkage as well so you can bring food with you. But in case you didn’t, you can order at the resort directly.

The only thing that I found a bit disappointing was their wifi. The signal is ok, but the internet speed is really slow. But the speed is ok if you are near the reception.

They also offer snorkeling and island hopping tours in which you can book in advance or on the day.

Aside from the beach, the resort also has a swimming pool. I expected the water to be salt water, so I was surprised to find out that it wasn’t. So if the heat is unbearable, the guest can opt to the swimming pool instead.

Rooms

Their room price is very reasonable and all comes with a free breakfast. Both my mother and my sister really liked the room because it was spacious. And the bed is phenomenal, I also love that we can choose a double bed or a single bed for our accommodation.

The standard room we’ve booked has complete amenities as well so our stay there was really comfortable. However, they don’t have cable.

Their bathroom and the toilet is very spacious too which is another plus.

How to Book?

You can book your stay in Pescadores Seaview Suites through Agoda, or any other booking apps. And you can also contact them directly through email or Facebook.

Conclusion

I have to say that our stay there was beyond pleasant. The beach was awesome and we adore our room since it was very comfortable. Budget? Check! Location? Check!

Pescadores Seaview Suites is highly recommended!

I’m so glad you had a good time at the beach resort and your mom and sister enjoyed it, too. The view of the beach and sea looks lovely.
