People will never believe that I, Aurora Hilario would resort into something as scandalous as selling my body at Wonderland.
But I did anyways.
Wala naman akong choice noong una at pangalawang gabi eh…
But the third night? Ah, that’s on me.
I know I’ll burn in hell for wearing that kitsune mask and letting my self be bound and tied once more. I know there’ll be regret, pero saka na iyon. What matters now is the undying heat, the orgasmic ferocity and the growling beast in hannya mask that’s gripping my hips from behind me while making me come apart in more ways than one.
Ang sarap, sa totoo lang.
Oh, to be pleasured and be paid had never deliciously coincided, until Wonderland.
Review
Tedious Tendencies was actually recommended to me from someone in Tiktok. Well, she actually recommended the author, and then told me to start this story first if I wanted to give her story a try. I was actually a bit hesitant at first because of the spg warning and it looks too spicy for my liking. But curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to give it a try anyway, wahahaha. And I’m glad I did! Now I have another wattpad author to follow in the app, eh.
The first thing I noticed when I started this story was the writing style. I already expected the worst because I thought it’s going to have an awkward or cliche writing style, but I was surprised because it was really good! It sounds like a story from an experienced writer! That said, I instantly became a new follower, *wink.
As for the story, it was actually a pretty short read. There were no annoying drama and characters so overall, it felt like a light read for me. It was ironic that I felt that way because the sexy scenes in this story were usually pretty intense, plus the past of the ML was quite morbid for me. Speaking of sexy scenes, I usually cringe if it’s too intense, but surprisingly for this one, I didn’t hahahaha. I honestly blushed reading them, lol. I think it was mainly because of the writing style of the author. It was written so well that throughout the story, I can vividly feel the chemistry of the main leads so their interactions together were something I always looked forward to.
For the romance, it was actually good. Their first meeting was unconventional, but their chemistry is so good that I honestly don’t mind what happens next just as long as they end up together. There was a misunderstanding between the two, but it’s a good thing that it didn’t drag too long in the story.
As for the main characters, there’s not much of a long introduction. It was pretty understandable since it’s such a short read. But it would have been great to know their age, lol. I didn’t really mind it at all until FL’s annoying ex pointed it out, now it’s making me curious, hahahaha. But in the end, that didn’t really destroy my whole reading experience. We also got to see the main leads struggle in their own problems and trauma, especially the ML, so I feel extremely happy that they were able to move past it and finally confirmed their feelings and are now officially together.
For the side characters, there’s not much since it’s just a short read, but there’s a side couple that I can’t wait to read their own story! You’ll know who they are right away when you decided to read this story, *wink. Aside from them, I was a bit confused of the FL’s sister. There’s not much detail, but her actions were quite questionable. I hope we get to know more about that as we read the other books in this series.
Lastly, this story has an interchange POV between the main leads which is really great because we’ve got to see what they really felt especially in some important scenes. Plus there’s HEA!
If you are looking for a short but good read, then Tedious Tendencies by Selina Matias is highly recommended!
