This story started with FL having a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar after hastily going there mending a broken heart because her bff that she has a crush on is now dating their other close friend. She thought it was just a one night stand until she met the director of the school that she teaches at. Imagine the surprise, lol.
This manhwa is just perfect! This holds a lot since I’m not a big fan of modern romance let alone a celebrity romance in my manhwa. Daytime Star just delivered it perfectly not just with the story but also with the art. As I’ve said, it was perfect!
Doukyuusei is a pretty simple anime movie. I usually like simple things but not so much with my yaoi (if you know what I mean, hehehe). Just like my usual yaoi, this one was also set in highschool so it’s kind of understandable that it was pretty wholesome compared to most yaoi that I’ve been reading lately.
Compared to the previous yaoi anime that I’ve watched, you could say that this one’s pretty simple. It’s simple yet there’s just something about it that makes me want to watch the next episode and then the next, next, next, until I reach the end.
When I started the first episode, I was like “Ok, so this is all the hype was all about?”. Even if I wasn’t expecting something great, I would be lying if I say I wasn’t disappointed at all. But heck, I’m so glad I continued watching this anime because all of those revelations and scenes were really remarkable, I’ll tell you about it later, *wink. The first 15 episodes were about setting the groundwork about what this anime is about and for us to know each character.
