Despite his impressive Olympic-level figure skating career, Dan Yi-rim has always considered himself defective. Yeom Cheong-ho is a professional swimmer and an Alpha suffering from an extreme aversion to typical Omega pheromones. When an accident brings them together, they discover their complementary conditions instantly boost Cheong-ho’s athletic recovery—leading to a transactional bond that gradually shifts into something far deeper.
Complex Main Leads & Character Growth
- Yeom Cheong-ho (The Alpha): He starts off detached, cynical, and abrasive, but his character arc is easily the highlight of the story. Driven by his own trauma, he unexpectedly becomes the one fighting hardest to make the relationship work, growing into a deeply devoted partner.
- Dan Yi-rim (The Omega): Yi-rim brings great comedic relief early on with his blunt, filterless honesty that regularly stresses Cheong-ho out. While his tragic backstory adds compelling emotional depth, his choice to rely on the overused “running away” trope later in the plot temporarily slows down the momentum.
Visual Evolution & The Cutest Baby
The manhwa begins in black-and-white before making a delightful transition to full, vibrant color in Season 2. The artwork is expressive and charming, but the real star of the visuals is their baby, Yi-ho. With his chubby cheeks and sweet smiles, he easily ranks among the cutest babies in the webtoon world!
