It’s My Birthday And Here’s What I Want to Say

Hello everyone. And yes it’s my birthday today. Happy Birthday to me!

I don’t usually celebrate my birthday. I think I stopped celebrating it when I started College. I treat my friends for a meal sometimes, but my usual routine during my birthday is just going to church.

I don’t celebrate my birthday, but that doesn’t mean I’m not grateful for another year. I guess you just stop making it a big deal once you get older. Probably just to forget your age?, wahahaha. I think I stopped counting when I reached 25. One time I forgot my age and said the wrong number then my friends did the math on me, and I was like, dang! Am I really that old now?, wahahaha. Well, age is just a number really.

If you feel young, then f*ck the age! Well, I say that all the time then my body betrays me, hahaha. Body pains are frequent when you get older, that’s just the fact of life.

This is starting to get really long and boring, hahaha, sorry guys. All I wanted to say is THANK YOU. First of all, I want to thank THE ONE ABOVE for everything. Life may have been hard sometimes but with your love and guidance, I have learned to continue to have faith and to never give up.

Second, would be a big thank you to MY FAMILY who are always there by my side even though I always screw up and mess things up more than what you could say normal, lol. You guys are my number one source of strength and motivation. We aren’t one of those families who are always vocal about our feelings, but I hope you guys can feel my big love for you. Even though we fight like cats and dogs sometimes, wahahaha.

And lastly, a big thank you to all of MY FRIENDS (both offline and online). We may not have seen each other ever, or for quite a while, and we also don’t talk that often. But I thank you from the bottom of my heart for still keeping a small part of me in your thoughts. Others may think it’s just a small thing, but every word and social media reactions I received from you gives me an imaginary push to always go forward each day. So thank you so much.
