Review – Ging-ging Hotel & Resort

After long stressful hours at work, relaxing on a beach is definitely heaven on earth. One great recommendation would be spending it at Ging-ging Hotel & Resort in Oslob.

Read my review about this place below:

Location:

Looc, Oslob, Southern Cebu — approx. 4 hours away from Cebu City.

It’s just along the road, so you can easily spot it, *wink.

Amenities, Staffs and Security

Review – Ging-ging Hotel & Resort | Blushing Geek

I have to say that this is another great find. The place looks small on the outside, but looks bigger inside. They have the reception area, two swimming pools, the restaurant and ofcourse the rooms. I actually love the place. It was also peaceful so aside from going with your friends or family, you can also visit the place if you just want to get away from the stressful city life and enjoy nature. The place also looks secured, so you can definitely relax in peace.

As for the staff, they are very accommodating and respect privacy so you won’t need to worry about being bothered while you’re busy taking a selfie, hahaha.

They also have a strong wifi connection, unfortunately, it doesn’t reach inside our room. Not really a big issue for me, since we can use data instead because the signal is really good.

As for the pools, both my mom and my sister actually liked it. It’s so much bigger than the one from Pescadores so it’s definitely great for family and friends.

They don’t have any goggles or life vest that you could borrow since Oslob isn’t a place known for diving unlike Moalboal. Despite that, the beach isn’t really that bad at all. I actually like it. As a matter of fact, I enjoyed it. The water is so refreshing and clean, so you’ll absolutely enjoy it too. If you don’t want the beach, then you can opt for the pools, *wink.

The resort has a corkage fee if you bring food from the outside, but they have inhouse restaurant so that will get you covered. Their serving is actually quite ample.

And last thing I would like to highlight is that the place is pet friendly. We actually brought our little Lexie with us, although they are not allowed in the pool. But the beach is already good enough for her anyway, *wink.

Rooms

We only got the Queen Suite good for 2 pax for Php2000 and added Php500 for the extra 1 person. The room isn’t as big as what we’ve got from Pescadores but it has a refrigerator, clothes rack, aircon, locker, queen size bed, cabled tv and a mattress for the extra person. All room accommodation also comes with breakfast too, quite a snag eh?

My mom actually loved the bathroom. It was definitely bigger and complete with toiletries as well. No problem with the water too.

How to Book

You can book your stay in Ging-ging Hotel & Resort through Agoda, or any other booking apps. And you can also contact them directly through email or Facebook.

Conclusion

We only stayed there during the weekend but we had a really nice stay there. It’s very affordable but the service is more than what we paid for. I’ll definitely come back, but this time with my friends, *wink.

Ging-ging Hotel & Resort is highly recommended!

It does sound lovely and I like that it is close to the beach. I’m with your mom on a big, clean bathroom. 🙂
