Book Review – Irrevocable by Skye Callahan
I don’t read sypnosis when I am about to read a book, but looking at the cover, I was sure this one is going to be a hot read. And it sure was, although not what I expected

I know I will like this story the minute I read the first chapter. It was so entertaining and the chemistry between the characters is so palpable. I don’t know about you, but this story reminds me so much of Wallbanger by Alice Clayton.
Kiss the Sky is undeniably a sexy read, but it was a bit too much for me. The cursing didn’t sit well on me either but the romance was really something, plus I love the combination of Rose and Connor. It was a dual POV too, and that’s a winner in my book. If you enjoy sexy contemporary romance, then this story might work best for you.
OMG! I absolutely love this book, Confess by Colleen Hoover. It has the right amount of humor, romance and ofcourse tragedy. This book is just so heartbreakingly beautiful and I’m pretty sure you’ll love this one as well. Highly recommended!
Nocte is the first book of the Nocte Trilogy by Courtney Cole. It’s a really dark, emotional read that I am sure it will leave you crying your heart out. I really love that aside from the family aspect, this one also added a romantic part to it which balances the whole story. This book is highly recommended!
Definition of Flawed is the prologue of the Definition series by Lia Peele. It’s a short read about a twenty one year old Scarlette and how she dealt with love and her family. Looking at the cover, I didn’t anticipated the story. Though it wasn’t my favorite, I’m still curious what will happen in the next book. Still recommended.
Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan is one the books I’ve read this year that really has the “feels”. I love that this one is different from my usual contemporary reads plus it I’m digging the emotional vibe. This story was also taken from both the main characters’ making it easy to connect with them. Recommended.
Sands of Time is the anticipated 6th book of the Costa Leona series written by Jonaxx. It’s a story of love, forgiveness and justice. Just like her other stories, this one sent me to a roller coaster ride of emotions and I suddenly found myself crying. The scenes, the lines, everything about this story is just amazing. Well, what can you expect from Jonaxx eh? Highly recommended!
What Lies Beneath the Sand is the 5th book of the Costa Leona series by Jonaxx. Just like her usual stories, this one sent me into insanity. The lines, the scenes, the characters, all we’re so good that I ended up falling…hard. Not my favorite from this series but still a very good story. Highly recommended!
The Proposition by Katie Ashley is the first installment of The Proposition series. It’s a story of new beginnings, love and trust. This story is well written; it was sweet and sexy at the same time. Except for the cliff hanger and the crazy conflict, I think it would have been an amazing story overall.
Tangled by Emma Chase is probably one of the best books I’ve read this year, and maybe ever. I absolutely love the writing style and the cover totally speaks for itself because the hero, Drew, is so effing sexy and hilarious. I don’t remember the last time I had this so much fun reading something. Highly recommended!
Wallbanger is a very hot and sensual story but the humor it provide will absolutely left you laughing your heart out. So if you don’t mind rolling in the floor laughing, then you may want to consider reading this book, Wallbanger (Cocktail #1) by Alice Clayton.
