You should never miss Samal Island (Island Garden City of Samal or IGaCoS) when you’re traveling in Davao. It’s a great destination if you are looking for tranquility, great adventures and extreme challenges with nature.

Today, I am giving you guys a short tour to one of the most visited tourist destinations in Davao, the Philippine Eagle Center. It was actually part of my Day 1 tour and I think it was one of the many reasons why I think going to Davao was really a great idea, *wink.
As part of my first ever solo travel in Davao last January, visiting the famous Davao Crocodile Park is a must. The Davao Crocodile Park is a major tourist destination in Davao and I have to tell you, it’s so worth it!
It’s been almost two months since I explored Davao but it’s just now that I decided to write this article about my experience in Lon Wa Buddhist Temple, hehe. You see, I tend to get very lazy when I know I have lots of articles to write. But I guess it’s better late than never eh?
My day one in Davao includes a lot of walking and I love that it would only take you a minute to hop from one destination to another. As you may have already know, I stayed for three days at Hotel Uno and it only took me not more than 8 minutes to reach Davao City Hall which is surrounded with different destinations that are also worth checking out.

It is actually one of the two known museums in Davao and although it’s directly translated as “Davao Museum”, it is commonly known as the NEW Museum. The other museum which is known as the Old Davao Museum is located inside Insular Village and is slightly bigger than Museo Dabawenyo.
I’ve been meaning to write this review a few days after I went back from my first ever solo trip in Davao City but I got lazy, haha. Aside from the laundry and going back to work, another thing I hate about getting back after vacation is that I tend to get more lazy than normal, haha. That said, expect…
I’ve wanted to visit Davao after hearing that it’s one of the safest cities not just in the Philippines, but in the whole world. Every night before I go to sleep, I always make it a habit to check online if there’s some cheap flights available until finally, I was able to snag one.
Konnichiwa minna-san! As you may already know, I just came back from my first ever out of town trip in Davao City last Monday midnight. I was supposed to share with you guys all about it yesterday but I was so tired and the geek needs her sleep, hehe.
