Book Review – The Melody Lingers On by Mary Higgins Clark

The Memory Lingers On is quite different from Mary Higgins Clark’s usual stories because there’s no crime to be solve. Don’t get me wrong, the mystery and suspense is still there ofcourse. But unlike the previous book that I’ve read from hers, this one didn’t stood up for me, but overall, it’s still a pretty interesting read.

Book Review – All Dressed in White by Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke

All Dressed in White is the 3rd book of the Under Suspicion series and just like the first two books in the series, this one had me in circles. I keep on changing who’s the culprit because dang! MHC is still very good in making each characters act like the bad guy. If you’re up for a story that will keep you guessing til the end, this book is highly recommended!

All Around the Town is another exciting mystery/suspense from the Queen of Suspense herself. It’s a story of Laurie who’s suffering from a multiple personality disorder because of the kidnapping she experienced while she was just 4 years old. This book got a really creepy culprit and I’m sure the suspense and mystery will blow your mind. Highly recommended!

This story is the first book of the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard. I can’t say that I’m a fan but I think overall it was still a decent start of the series. I actually like the second half of the book and it makes me feel excited to read the next installment. It’s still recommended especially if you love mystery.

Book Review – I’ll Be Seeing You by Mary Higgins Clark

I’ll Be Seeing You is the first book from Mary Higgins Clark that I’ve read this year and I have to say that it’s absolutely the best book to kick-start my reading mood this year. This book exactly has all the elements I want in this genre – suspense, thriller, mystery and with a little dash of romance. Just like her other books, this one had me guessing for hours, and the most important thing is, I love the ending. Highly recommended!

Hanover House by Brenda Novak is the kick-off story of The Evelyn Talbot Chronicles. It’s a story of Evelyn Talbot who was once a victim of her psychopath boyfriend who not only killed her bestfriends but also abducted, tortured and raped her then left her for dead. Definitely a good book to start the series.

I’ve read something before about a brother or a sister trying to clean up their sibling’s reputation so I didn’t have any high expectations for this book. For almost eleven years, Ken has been in hiding for killing Will’s (younger brother) ex girlfriend Julie Miller.
