I've been meaning to read this series for a very long time now and finally, I did! The Lightning Thief which is the first book of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, gave me a very good start thus making me more excited to read the second book. This is highly recommended!

Once in a while, I do enjoy indulging in good middle grade fantasy books. So when I was offered by the good author, Colm McElwain with his first book, James Clyde and the Diamonds of Orchestra, I was curious.
The first few chapters were fine, nothing special really, just a typical girl who is so clumsy that I think that's her natural talent. Based on the cover, I know this is going to be fantasy, but I've finished chapter 2 still no flying wizards or supernatural things happened.
This story has them all! It made me squeal in delight and with love, it made me pissed off (not with the story but with its characters haha), it made me cry, and it made me want to jump like an effing kangaroo for what this story is making me feel.
