My 2023 was a pretty lazy year for me, so it took me quite a while to finally write about my Kuala Lumpur travel experience, hehehe. Considering the many travel mistakes we made for that trip, I still think that it was a big success.

If you have been following me on my Instagram account, you will know that I recently visited Malaysia and it was epic! I told my mom early this year that we should try traveling abroad now that covid scare is not that bad compared to the previous years. This was my first time traveling abroad and I know I can’t give this spot to Japan since we can’t afford it yet.
If you have been following me on Instagram, you probably know by now that I traveled to Iloilo early this month. It was also my first solo trip after the pandemic, so imagine my excitement! And not just that, it was also my first time joining a joiners tour solo.
Early this month, I finally visited Iloilo and it was amazing! This time, I am traveling alone after so many years. Char, it sounds like I am always traveling alone, lol. Actually, this was my second time traveling alone and it feels so surreal. My first time solo travel was in Davao, and it was in the middle of martial law. But despite that, it was an amazing first solo travel experience and was very safe, *wink.
Early last month, and I was finally able to cross out one of my Cebu wish lists which is the Bantayan Island. Yasss! It was supposed to be last August but we had some family emergency and all of that, so the rescheduled date was just decided at the last minute. But I’m so glad everything went well and the weather cooperated, *wink.
