When I read a perfect 5-star review about a certain book from Ilona Andrews, it didn't occur to me that I will be reading one of her books next.

I'm not usually attracted to Historical Romance but I have plenty in my TBR. Haha, you can't blame me, the feedback was pretty convincing. And for this story, well, it gave me a hard time.
After watching the film adaptation of this book, I know I've got to have my own copy. I've been trying to erase the memory I had with the film so I could be atleast be a little clueless but dang, I can't suppress it anymore. I really need to read this book ASAP!
I always love the idea of a guy who got his heart broken and can't seem to move on, but after meeting "the" girl, all of that changes. Cliché I know, but I love it, haha, sucker! This story has that idea and imagine my excitement, yep, I've been on cloud 9 reading the first…
The moment I saw the cover and read the title of this story, I knew it's going to be intense. That's why I geared myself to be ready for that. But what I'm not prepared about is that I'm going to read it that night, let alone read it that fast!
